Dr. Sunil Shenvi is a Senior Consultant, Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (HPB) and Multiorgan Transplantation in Bengaluru, India. He is one of the best Liver, Pancreas, and Multiorgan Transplant Surgeon in India. Presently, he provides consultation in Trustwell Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., Chandrika tower, 5, JC Rd, Sudhama Nagar, Bengaluru and Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital and Research Centre, BEML, 5th Stage, RR Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka. His expertise lies in all types of liver transplantation including pre-operative assessment and management of patients with organ failure; living and deceased donor liver transplantation including transplantation of patients with blood group incompatibility and positive cross-match transplantation; pancreas transplantation and donor operations, surgeries of benign pancreatic diseases like acute and chronic pancreatitis; surgeries of cancer of bile duct and gallbladder and complex vascular access surgeries for hemodialysis.

He has spent almost 10 years in India and USA working in some of the most globally renowned transplant centers. Dr. Sunil completed his General Surgery training from prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Post completion of his MS, he pursued his MCh in Gastrointestinal and HPB Surgery from PGIMER under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Gupta, who is pioneer of Liver and Pancreatic Surgery. He then went on to further hone his skills as a visiting scholar at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, under Prof. Raja Kandaswamy, who is a pioneer of Multi-organ Transplantation. Dr. Sunil is also dedicated to medical research to advance treatment options and patient education. He is a frequent speaker at many national and international meetings. Dr. Shenvi has to his credit countless medical papers and publications in the field of Liver, Pancreas, Biliary diseases, and Pre- and Post-Liver Transplant Management.
